We appreciate your commitment to keeping our waterways clean, but your safety is our priority. This evening's radar isn't looking good, so we've made the call to postpone tonight's cleanup. We hope you can join us on Sunday, August 9th from 5-9 PM for our Fall Creek Canoe Cleanup.

The Town of Plainfield is saddened to see our neighbors to the north and east devastated by the flooding that has impacted communities across Indiana over the past several days.

In times like these, we believe in coming together and helping our neighbors. That’s why we’re opening our doors for donations to support those affected by the flooding.

📍 Plainfield Civic Center
📅 Monday, August 17 – Wednesday, August 19

Donations collected will be distributed to organizations and communities working directly with individuals and families impacted by the floods.

The following items are especially needed:

🍼 Diapers
🧻 Wipes
🧼 Hygiene products
🛁 New towels
🧹 Cleaning supplies
🗑️ Heavy-duty trash bags
🧤 Rubber gloves
🥫 Nonperishable food items & individually packaged snacks

If you’re able to donate, we encourage you to pick up an item, or a few items, the next time you’re shopping and bring them to the Plainfield Civic Center.

Ravenswood needs our help! The floodwaters have receded and now residents need help beginning the cleanup effort. FOWR will be coordinating dumpster deliveries, and volunteers can help the community dispose of waste/debris and remove items from flooded homes.

Volunteers can meet at Riverwood Park beginning at 10am on Tuesday, Aug 18th.

They’ll have a team organizing Ravenswood into zones and they’ll assign teams to each area.

They are working with different city officials to divert and streamline.

Marion CO Emergency Response team has a group coming to the park tomorrow to grill out and bring porta potties/ wash stations.

Glendale Christian Church is the resource point for water, food, and other supplies. Please deliver any donations there.
