Triad's Indianapolis Office building is in the Fort Harrison Historic District. If you have visited the office then you have seen history restored. Occasionally veterans have stopped by to see their old stomping grounds - the soldiers used to play ping pong in our copy/production room!

Join the Indiana Alliance of Rural Water for a fun morning of clay shooting where your registration fee supports the AIRW Scholarship fund.

Your registration for the 19th Annual Scholarship Clay Shoot pays for the clay shoot, donuts & coffee, but it also covers the cost of the outing and raises money for the Scholarship Fund. All proceeds from the events benefit the Alliance Scholarship Fund providing several scholarships to college-bound children of eligible Alliance Members.

Where can you have all this fun? Try the Atterbury Shooting Complex located at 4250 Edinburgh St, Edinburgh, IN 46124.

The Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) has announced that the Planning Grant program is now open for applications. Third quarter applications should be turned in by 4:00 PM Friday, August 16th.

There are several types of plans accepted; here are a few:

• Public Facilities Feasibility Study
• Historic Preservation Plan
• Downtown Revitalization Plan

The attacks on US soil on Septembe 11, 2001 will never be forgotten. There are many ways to remember and mourn the loss of many American citizens, workers, and emergency responders. Check out local events in your area or tune into this live feed in New York.

Hello friends, Happy Fall! It may not be September 21st, but it's the first of September and the mornings are crisp like an autumn apple. It's the perfect temperature to do some chores and then relax into the season.

September is a great month to begin preparations for the upcoming months. Winter still seems far away, and getting projects started now will eliminate some of the hurriedness that creeps up in October.

Preparations for the home and garden to do at this time include checking the smoke alarm & C02 detector, cleaning the drains and gutters, cleaning & putting away the lawn furniture, and having the HVAC system checked. Maybe it's a good time to get the piano tuned as well, as lessons are starting for the academic year.

Once you've checked some items off your list, treat yourself and the family to a visit at an apple orchard, like Tuttle's Orchard in Greenfield. You will be delighted by their farm and harvest selections and enjoy wandering the orchards. Plan your trip now and don't forget the F.R.O.G. jam!
