This fuel gas heater is an industrial-grade unit engineered for power plant generators. It functions as a heat exchanger designed to elevate the temperature of natural gas before combustion, ensuring efficient turbine or engine performance.

Constructed with stainless steel components and thermal insulation, it withstands high pressures and extreme operating conditions typical of power generation systems. The heater utilizes a closed-loop heating mechanism, powered by hot feed water, to preheat the incoming fuel gas — preventing condensation, improving combustion stability, and reducing emissions.

Its design emphasizes energy efficiency, safety, and reliability, featuring durable welded connections, temperature control instrumentation, and corrosion-resistant materials suitable for continuous, heavy-duty operation in large-scale power facilities.

CURRENT PROJECT:

This is a LNG Cryogenic Heat Exchanger is a high-performance thermal management unit engineered for NASA’s operation. Designed to operate at temperatures near –162 °C, it enables efficient heat transfer between liquefied natural gas and liquid nitrogen while maintaining exceptional reliability under extreme aerospace conditions.

Built from lightweight, high-strength stainless steel alloys, the exchanger features plain tubes for maximum heat transfer efficiency and minimal pressure drop. Its vacuum-jacketed insulation minimizes boil-off losses, and precision-welded joints ensure leak-free performance during thermal cycling.

Compact, durable, and mission-ready, this system supports NASA’s advancements in cryogenic fuel handling, clean-propulsion, and sustainable deep-space energy applications.

This is an off-shore application in the Gulf of Mexico. The shell side are connected two in parallel x 4 in series, while the tube sides are 8 in series.
In this application, (3) different streams of Natural Gas and Oil at different pressures and temperatures enter the tubeside, with cooling water on the shell side. The shell side design pressure is 400 psig, while the tube side is at 5,000 psig. Due to the high pressure, all tube side connections are made from machined forgings.
The size is (8) 20” diameter x 20 ft long and the heat load is 33,650,000 Btu/hr

This is an off-shore application in the Gulf of Mexico( Nakika Platform)
In this application, Sales oil at high viscosity and high pressure is entering the tube side, and it heated by high pressure hot water on the shell side. The size is 30” hairpin type exchanger about 30 feet long, with removable tube bundle. Duty is about 21,350,000 Btu/hr, and the design pressure is 450 psig on the shell side, x 3375 psig on the tube side
