Client Alert: Mold Risk After Historic Indiana Flooding

Indiana's recent flooding pushed the White River and other river systems to levels not seen in over a century. As communities shift from response to cleanup, mold is the next risk to manage.

Wet drywall, insulation, and framing can begin developing mold well before visible growth appears. The window to act is short.

KERAMIDA's team advises safety first, then water removal, then drying.

At KERAMIDA's Day at the Park on August 26, Nick McCreary, SVP Sustainability, will lead Decarbonizing the Plant Floor, showing how an energy cost reduction audit doubles as the on-ramp to Scope 1 and 2 reduction, cutting emissions and operating costs in one move.

The updated Safety Data Sheets are already arriving. Is your program ready to read them?

OSHA's HazCom update is changing how hazards show up on the sheets you rely on. Familiar chemicals are landing with new classifications, pictograms, and formats, and the compliance deadline for employers is still ahead of you this fall.

At KERAMIDA's Day at the Park on August 26, Carson Brown, CSP, SVP of Safety & Industrial Health Services, breaks down what the update means for your SDS program and what to have in place before your deadline. You'll leave knowing how to spot whether a supplier's sheet has genuinely been updated, plus the steps to get your library, labels, written program, and training current.

If your team is still sorting out what's changing, this session is for you.

In a compliance-driven industry, an AI mistake is more dangerous than just a bad draft. So, how do you effectively apply AI across EHS, sustainability, investigation, and remediation without jeopardizing compliance?

At KERAMIDA's Day at the Park on August 26, Wesley Fleming, P.E., MBA, CFO and Senior Engineer, and Jackson Gray, AI Solutions Engineer, are covering both halves of the AI conversation: where it's genuinely delivering returns - regulatory research at scale, data analysis and assurance, QA/QC layers, gap analysis - and the specific places we deliberately keep it out.

If your organization is trying to figure out where AI actually fits into Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability work — and where it doesn't — this session is built for you.
