As previously suggested, the second engine combination is done and in my personal E91 for the year. This being a 408” short block, top end package, and MoTeC package from . Break in looking good thus far. Look forward to dyno in the spring!

Follow up on Evan’s Corvette we swapped the LS2 into. Got all tuned up some weeks ago by putting down 433rwhp and 413rwtq. Evan’s put several hundred miles on it including a trip to the National Corvette Museum! Love to see the cars being used, and happy to see it working as intended.

The latest build mostly in the books. 96’ C4 Vette originally intended to just be a Holley EFI install on the stock LT1, turned into cam’d LS2 Swap retaining the Holley Terminator X Max. Retains the factory 4L60e and incorporates Drive by wire all controlled by the Holley. Dyno to come in late September. Just a bit of cleanup work and it will be ready to go. Sweet car!

Have only got ~100 miles since the conversion, but I’m super happy with my “downgrade” from the LSA, back to the NA LS3. For me, I didn’t want/need to be going crazy speeds to feel like I was enjoying the car. And this relatively simple combo fits the bill great. Stock LS3 long block, Performance Designs XS3 Intake and E85 still as of now. Will put a mild cam in it down the road. Dont blindly get caught up in the “more is always better” hype and build what you actually want!

After some offseason updates, its back together

- Converted my factory “Active Steering” system to a conventional rack, and GM pump. Wanted to retain corvette spacing for the LSA belt drive, so custom brackets were made for anlow mount alternator and factory Corvette PS pump. Turned out great.
- Swapped away from stock dead head fuel rail, to some Fore units
- Upgraded valve springs to some Beehive units from PSI, installed the CHE Trunnion kit, and threw in some upgraded pushrods; despite sticking with the stock cam for now
- Upgraded the balancer to a larger Powerbons SFI unit
- Swapped back to OEM motor mounts
- Powdercoated lid and valve covers

Bit more cosmetic stuff to do, and may give the diff a check over, but otherwise done in the engine bay.

Decided I wanted to retain the stock cluster for basic things (fuel/tach/speed) and retain the haltech dash for more detailed engine data.

Opted to swap to a factory navigation dash, and modify a factory nav screen bezel to mount the Ic7 there.

Then realized the radio/hvac controls are all different, so had to get to work there. Swapped the radio cage and hvac controls, and had to make custom brackets and modify the factory radio trim to accomodate my preexisting double din.

These projects can be pretty damn annoying in the moment but nice to pull off.

Bit late on the post, but my personal E91 with LS3/LSA/T56 Magnum swap is effectively done. Tune by as always, making a comfortable 580/600 to the tire, with the full comforts and niceties of a BMW interior.

Well it wasn’t without its drama, but I’ve finished LS swapping this 2008 NC Miata. Just needs aligned, tuned, etc. Car has an LS6 with BTR cam kit, TR6060 transmission, 2011 Camaro rear diff with DSS axles, Holley Terminator X Max ECU, Custom chassis fuse box/wiring, Custom exhaust, modified steering rack, and much more done to it.

As with all builds, you learn alot along the way. Let me know if I can helo any of you out with a swap build, standalone install, wiring, etc!
