On the 24th of September 2026, at in Mumbai, we proudly celebrated two outstanding persons, members of our network, whose contributions have helped shape the global aerospace community.

🏅 ISABE Award | Professor Dr. Richard “Ric” Parker (.parker.33) (UK)

Recognised for his remarkable lifetime achievements in air-breathing engines and propulsion systems, Professor Parker has dedicated nearly four decades to advancing aerospace technology!!!

From his leadership roles at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to his contributions to major European research initiatives, his career reflects a lasting commitment to engineering excellence and innovation.

🏅 ISABE International Collaboration Award | Professor Dr. B. N. Raghunandan (India)

Honoured for his outstanding contributions to aerospace research and international collaboration, Professor Raghunandan has played a significant role in connecting researchers, institutions, and industry partners around the world!

His work demonstrates how collaboration across borders can drive scientific progress and create new opportunities for innovation.

While ISABE conferences are traditionally held every two years, we are delighted to bring our global community together for back-to-back editions in 2026 and 2027!

The 28th Conference of the International Society for Air Breathing Engines ( ) will take place on 20–24 September 2027 in Querétaro, Mexico, under the theme:

Meet the Speakers | Ramakrishnan (Ramki) Parasuraman

We are pleased to welcome Ramakrishnan (Ramki) Parasuraman, Vice President of Engineering at Honeywell Aerospace, as a speaker at the 27th ISABE Conference, taking place in Mumbai from 20–25 September 2026.

With more than 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, Ramki leads Honeywell Aerospace’s engineering organisation in India, supporting the company’s product families and functional engineering verticals.

His career spans major aerospace programmes, including the development of India’s first civil aircraft, SARAS, systems for the Airbus A350, and propulsion and engine control systems across military, business, and general aviation. He was also part of the leadership team responsible for Honeywell Anthem, the company’s next-generation integrated flight deck.

Beyond industry, Ramki contributes to aerospace education and national aviation initiatives through academic Boards of Studies and expert committees focused on aviation and aerospace systems.

We are pleased to welcome Alok Nanda, General Manager of Services Engineering at GE Aerospace, as a speaker at the 27th ISABE Conference, taking place in Mumbai from 20–25 September 2026.

Alok leads a global team focused on customer outcomes, operational excellence, and next-generation growth. Working closely with Commercial Engines and Services, he contributes to optimising asset utilisation by increasing time on wing, expanding repair capabilities, reducing turnaround times, and deploying technologies that deliver measurable impact.
