The Nathaniel J. McFadden Learn and Play Park is a standout example of urban park construction, delivered within a constrained redevelopment footprint while integrating complex site infrastructure, community-centered amenities, and multiple public art installations. Achieving the design intent required exceptional precision in layout, grading, and field coordination so that technical performance and visitor experience were equally successful.
MK served as the site/civil engineer, producing detailed construction documents and providing construction-phase services to help deliver the park as designed. The team supported accurate staking and grading, coordinated multidisciplinary interfaces, and responded to field conditions to keep work progressing while protecting critical tolerances across all site features.
