This week the ‘Hand’ pin striping has been finished around the cab of the crane which really finishes off the overall look of this truck and she sure does look smart now !

Having the right kit for the for the job makes a big difference !

At E.J. McGovern Crane Hire we are well known for investing in the latest technology to assist our teams in delivering Safe and Efficient Lifting Solutions onsite.

Our latest investment is exactly that, the pewag.international liftingxperts 20te Load Leveller is a new to UK market specialist piece of lifting equipment that allows us to lift and automatically level loads up to 20te with an imbalance of 6te all controlled by a wireless remote !

In this load case we are lifting a 7,000kg ASHP which are know to have awkward CoG's which makes installation troublesome at roof level, by using the PEWAG Levo in combination with a modulift_uk CMOD24 and PEWAG Sn**ch Blocks we could easily lift the load with X8 Lifting points a precisely level the load for landing at roof level.

McGovern Crane Hire is the first UK Mobile Crane company to make the investment into this product which enforces our commitment to our clients to provide Trusted Lifting Solutions with some of the best equipment on the market complimented by our brilliant team members.

At McGovern Crane Hire we are no stranger to 3D Job Planning, having invested into the CRANIMAX GmbH many years ago we have been able to supply high quality 2D and 3D AutoCad plans to our customers.

This has allowed us to plan works that simply would not be possible without 3D Capabilities, cranimax_official has enabled us to not only plan works to the MM but also detail visual aids to both clients and operatives onsite.

But times do change and the next 'big thing' is being able to utilise the impressive capabilities of modern drones by capturing 'real life' 3D Environments and then utilising this data to create photo realistic plans to assist onsite site works.

There's still a big requirement for in-depth and accurate 2D CAD Plans but along with these new capabilities we are very excited to see what the future holds for modern day job lift planning.

Thankyou to CRANIMAX GmbH for the trail run of the new OBJ Import features, an impressive feature for sure ! Looking forward to putting it through its paces as this is just day 1 !
