Another exciting project underway for a valued repeat customer

We’ve recently started the installation of a new 6-bay modular dock system designed to improve the safe and efficient offloading of trailers directly from the rear — all while working under fully covered, weather-sealed conditions.

This installation includes:
Dock levellers
Dock shelters with wheel guides
Mezzanine dock gates
2 access ramps
Dock traffic light systems
New door motors & control panels

All works are being completed on a live operational site, working closely alongside the customer team and fully in line with CDM regulations to ensure safety, coordination and minimal disruption throughout the project.

Great progress so far and we’re looking forward to sharing the finished installation soon.

Out-of-hours job completed ✔️

We recently replaced a sliding door operator at the main entrance of a busy retirement village, ensuring everything is now running smoothly and safely.

Due to the high volume of daily pedestrian traffic, this work was carried out out-of-hours to minimise disruption for residents and visitors, while also allowing our team to work safely and efficiently.

🎉 A massive congratulations to Hayley, Kyle, and Tom! 🎉

We’re proud to share that all three have successfully passed their BS EN 16005 – Safety in Use of Power Operated Pedestrian Doors qualification through the ADSA training course.

The course included a full day of training to understand the required standards, followed by a second day completing the written assessment — and they all passed! 👏

Hayley, who works in our office, now has the knowledge and understanding of the standards to help answer questions related to automatic door enquiries, as well as assist with pricing for repairs, installations, and servicing jobs.

Kyle and Tom are now fully equipped with the knowledge required to be out on site inspecting and testing your automatic doors, helping ensure your workplace remains compliant. When repairing or installing doors, we can be confident that everything is left operating safely and in line with the correct standards.

Another introduction that’s a little overdue thanks to how busy things have been!

We’re pleased to introduce Tom, who joined us back in October as a Fitter’s Mate, with the aim of learning and progressing his career towards becoming an Industrial Door & Loading Bay Engineer.

Tom has already completed relevant courses to support his role and is making great progress. It’s been great to see his development so far.
