Project Delivery | Hypro Marine Hydraulic Garage Door
Bennett's Hydraulics recently completed a critical rectification and system upgrade of a Hypro Marine Hydraulic Garage Door System aboard a 24m Princess Yacht at Sanctuary Cove Marina.

The original Fluidlink Hydraulic Power Unit, supplied by Hypro Marine at build, had suffered a complete failure and was unable to generate system pressure, rendering the garage door inoperable. With Fluidlink no longer in operation, an OEM equivalent Hydronit HPU was selected, engineered, and installed to meet Hypro Marine system requirements.

Following structured fault diagnosis, the system was fully restored and commissioned in accordance with OEM performance specifications.

Scope of works included:
✅ Engineering fault diagnosis confirming total pressure loss from the original Fluidlink HPU
✅ Selection and installation of an OEM equivalent Hydronit hydraulic power unit
✅ Integration with existing stainless hydraulic cylinders and garage door structure
✅ Full system flush, pressure calibration, and functional load testing
✅ Final commissioning and verification to OEM performance standards

The outcome is a fully compliant, high reliability hydraulic system delivering controlled operation, correct load management, and restored operational confidence for the vessel.

🏁 Bennett's Hydraulics was fortunate to be invited to the Penrite Racing & Gates Corporation Corporate Box for the V8 Supercars Ipswich 440, and what an unforgettable experience it was!

We had the privilege of meeting Kai Allen and Matthew Payne, seeing the cars and engineering team in action up close, visiting the pits to watch the precision of a race team at work, and walking the grid.

Watching the race unfold was just as inspiring, Kai powered his way to a 3rd place podium finish from P22, and Matt finished 4th from P12, an outstanding result for the team! 🏆

Beyond the racing, it was fantastic to connect with the Gates Corporation team in person and share the day with others equally passionate about engineering excellence and performance.
