Re-Source York inspires our community by being environmentally and socially responsible.
(1)

Our nonprofit mission is to advance environmental and social responsibility through the sale of used home goods and building materials while supporting job readiness and resources for our community. We do this by selling donated home improvement items and furnishings at reduced prices to the community through at our two locations. In addition to reducing landfill waste, we are a revenue generator for our non-profit partner Bell Socialization Services and offer vocational training and job placement services for Bell service users.

A huge thank you to Bell Socialization Services for being our awesome CAT Day sponsor today! As a reminder, we are collecting essential toiletries for the Bell Family Shelter all week long. If you're heading our way, please consider bringing along bottles of body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, or paper products to drop in our collection bin!

On top of giving back, we’ve got an incredible deal for your home! Starting today through Saturday, take 25% off all chairs storewide! Whether you need dining kitchen chairs, ergonomic desk chairs, or cozy living room armchairs, we’ve got some super unique pieces on the floor right now. Swing on by, take a seat, and score a great deal before 7 PM tonight!

CAT Day sale!

10/28/2026

Reminder that we will be closing early today at 4 PM for a staff event!

A huge shout-out and thank you to our friend and local Realtor, Jonelle Daviau, Realtor, for connecting us with a generous donor! It’s community connections like this that help us keep our doors open and continue serving the amazing people of York.

Lastly, please don't forget that we are collecting essential personal care items for the Bell Family Shelter all week long! Drop off everyday toiletries like shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, and paper products during store hours and we’ll deliver them directly to the shelter. Thank you for supporting Re-Source York for 25 years and for giving back to our community!

Important schedule update: we will be closing early tomorrow (Wednesday the 28th) at 4 PM! In super exciting news, this week’s CAT Day sponsor is Bell Socialization Services, who just reached an amazing 60-year milestone in our community! To help celebrate, we’re hosting a donation drive all week long for the Bell Family Shelter.

We’re collecting essential toiletries and personal hygiene items including body wash, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, diapers, and more. If you’re stopping in to shop this week, please consider bringing along a few of these everyday essentials to drop in our donation bin.

Thank you for helping us support such a vital community partner!

A huge thank-you to Mike at the Sherwin-Williams in New Freedom for a truly generous donation! He sent a massive haul of roughly 50 gallons of paint our way. By choosing to donate to Re-Source York instead of paying for disposal of these mistints, it's a huge win-win-win: a win for his store, a win for the environment, and a win for our local community!

The best part? Several of these gallons are from Sherwin-Williams' premium Emerald line which normally retails for over $90 a gallon! Because they were slightly mistinted, you can grab them on our floor for just $15 a gallon! Remember, we carry both new and used paint, primer, and stain, plus all the tools you need—like brushes, rollers, and trays—to tackle your next project on a budget. Thank you, Mike and Sherwin-Williams, for your incredible support!

Plus, our massive 50% off cabinet sale is still going strong, and we just put out a wave of fresh sofas, dressers, and home decor on the sales floor today! We're here from 9 AM to 7 PM today and tomorrow so stop in, spin to win, and say hello!

10/21/2026

HUGE cabinet sale starting today! 🚨 Enjoy 50% off kitchen base cabinets, wall cabinets, lazy susans, wall bridges, and tall specialty units like pantries, utility closets, and oven wall cabinets! 🤩

10/20/2026

It's time to announce our next CAT Day sponsor! Our friends from the M&T Bank on Loucks Road will be in the shop this Thursday morning to help us celebrate 25 years in the community. Word on the street is they’ll even be bringing delicious treats for our morning shoppers, so make sure to put it on your calendar and come say hello! 😊

However, if you see something you love in today's photos, take our advice and don't wait until Thursday! Our best treasures sell fast, and we're open until 7 PM tonight, so swing by today and take two laps around the store to find your next favorite bargain!

Store walkthrough! Oct. 19th.

10/16/2026

We just put out a whole selection of tall pantries, utility cabinets, and oven cabinets! Think of all the unique ways you can use these for extra storage around your house. As you can see in the photo from Unexpected Elegance, an oven cabinet makes unique kitchen storage, or you can pair a wall bridge with tall cabinets in the garage for the ultimate workshop setup like the photo from Woodshop Diaries! You get tons of heavy-duty storage at a fraction of the prices you’d find anywhere else.

Stop in and see us before 7 PM tonight or swing by on Saturday between 9 AM and 4 PM and our team will show you what we have in stock!
