A major infrastructure investment is now serving the City of Buffalo, Texas.

MRB Group was proud to provide design services for the City’s new 332,000-gallon-per-day activated sludge wastewater treatment plant, constructed on the site of the existing facility.

The $9.6 million project was largely funded through a grant administered by the Texas General Land Office (GLO), helping Buffalo strengthen critical infrastructure, improve wastewater treatment capabilities, and support the community’s long-term resilience.

We’re proud to support communities like Buffalo with infrastructure solutions designed to serve residents today and well into the future.

MRB Group and Hancock Estabrook LLP are once again offering our FREE annual Municipal Bootcamp Series to support local governments, municipal officials, and planning and zoning boards. Sessions are practical, engaging, and may qualify toward required training credits.

Join us for Session #8: A Storm is Brewing – How Development Review Addresses Stormwater Management and Water Quality on September 24th from 6–7 PM.

Stormwater runoff remains one of the greatest threats to local water quality. This session will explore how development review, local regulations, and best management practices can help communities reduce stormwater pollution and better protect their water resources.

Architect Kelly Root represented MRB Group volunteering at the 3rd Annual Matthew’s Mission Golf Tournament this past Sunday at Woodlynn Hills Golf Course in Nunda, NY. Her nephew, Matthew, was born with hemophilia, a rare bleeding disorder. The Root family is overwhelmed with the community outreach and support this year with 24 teams participating, over 100 raffle baskets donated, and 45 hole sponsors, including MRB Group. Thoughtful land use planning helps communities grow while protecting what makes them unique.

MRB Group worked with the Town of Fayette NY, to update its Lakeshore/Canal Land Use District regulations, creating a more balanced framework for reasonable lakefront development while protecting community character and water quality.
