Lu Engineers is looking for an full-time Environmental Technician to perform Asbestos Air & Project Monitoring. Job Description is as follows:
* Perform project oversight of the Asbestos Abatement Contractor to ensure that they are following the project plans and specifications and the asbestos abatement regulations.
* Collect air samples as required by the NYS Department of Labor and various other regulatory agencies.
* Prepare project chain of custody.
* Prepare project daily logs.
* Interact between Client and Contractors
* Work with regulatory agency officials.
* Read project plans and specifications.
* Prepare project monitoring reports.
Project monitoring work is performed in the field at construction sites. The preparation of project monitoring reports is generally performed in our office.
