Located in the heart of downtown Kansas City, the Kansas City Power & Light District spans nine city blocks and serves as a major hub for dining and entertainment, including the Kansas City Live! event space. Since opening in 2008, it has welcomed over 95 million visitors and played a key role in revitalizing the downtown area.

Within the district, the PNC Patio offers a versatile event space for both general admission and VIP guests. To support this activity, Sightline enhanced the VIP stage with a custom platform and railing system, creating a safer, more functional space with improved sightlines and guest comfort.

Our next member in our Meet The Team series is Brad!

As Engineering Manager at Sightline Commercial Solutions, Brad Schilling leads the team responsible for researching, designing and delivering railing and life safety systems for large-scale stadium and arena projects. During his 12-year tenure, he has helped shape the technical processes behind some of the company’s most complex installations, guiding projects from detailed 3D modeling through field installation.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Brad brings a well-rounded understanding of software expertise and the real-world experience to apply it. He has served as design lead on such major projects as U.S. Bank Stadium, SoFi Stadium and Little Caesars Arena – where he led the design effort behind the distinctive gondola-style suites, a unique feature that required creative problem-solving and rigorous engineering to ensure proper visibility, safety and structural performance.
