The grand opening of the G.V. Daniels and Cesar Chavez Recreation Centers mark a major milestone for Abilene, Texas, expanding access to new recreational opportunities across the community.

Built to replace two aging facilities, these centers give Abilene residents something they truly deserve: modern, accessible spaces where kids can play, seniors can gather, families can stay active, and the whole community can grow together.

From the early stages of pre-design through construction, Parkhill worked closely with the City of Abilene to ensure every decision — from the layout of the fitness areas to the flexibility of the classrooms and community spaces — reflected the real needs of the people who will use them every day.

The Midland Garfield Street reconstruction wasn't just a road project — it was a rethink.

Tasked with solving chronic traffic issues near Midland Memorial Stadium, our team designed a one-of-a-kind "egg" shaped roundabout at the Cuthbert/Garfield offset intersections to improve flow and cut signal maintenance.

Green Country Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to creating quality, affordable homes for deserving families, partnering with local organizations and families to make homeownership attainable since 1988.

Through a Parkhill Building Community Investment (BCI) grant, Parkhill gifted the organization 10 surveys for future developments. The Tulsa office is also planning a "Build Day" where volunteers will build the framing for a future Habitat House.

Parkhill is providing architectural and engineering services for Trinity Bible Church in Willow Park, Texas.

The project includes a new 600–800-seat worship center, a connector, an expanded building entry, and children's check-in, along with associated site work, including parking lot adjustments and exterior canopies.

The excitement of Parkhill's Aviation Team is sky-high after attending the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Texas' 2026 Engineering Excellence Awards Gala in Fort Worth, Texas. The Midland Airpark Airfield Improvements project was recognized with a Silver Award in the Special Projects category for this year's Texas Engineering Excellence Awards.

We were honored to attend the gala with representatives from the City of Midland. Director of Airports Justine Ruff and Deputy Director of Airports Nick Krakovec joined us in receiving the award.
