One of Mountain Tops Engineers, Simon Melonas, met with the Pathfinder girls of AHG Troop Tx-0619 via FaceTime to tell them what it means to be an engineer, give them tips on how to construct a swing from pipe cleaners, & assist them with their Communication Technology and Engineering Bead/Badges. MTE loves community outreach & enjoys building up the next generation of Engineers!

Time for a Toss It Back Tuesday post. Today marks the one year anniversary of our three principals coming together to form Mountain Top Engineering. This marks an incredible milestone for us as we continue to grow and learn within all of the things we do. Whether its a groundwater availability study, commercial site civil design, or municipal utility improvements to serve our clients, we never stop striving to provide the best customer service with the fastest response times and thoughtful designs that increase client satisfaction and deliver a product that suits them.

Little Flashback Friday action to two Fridays ago when Adam and Simon handled some construction staking for one of our clients. We received the call earlier that week, calculated the staking points and by the next afternoon the staking was done.

Earlier this week, Adam Nixon and Simon Ŧ Melonas had the pleasure of heading out to the Children's Home of Lubbock to do a topo and survey for their new pool house! We always look forward to opportunities where we can help organizations, like the Children's Home, with their projects. Organizations like this give children a chance to grow and succeed, and, as stewards of our community, we seek to help in that goal!

Project Update of the Week:

We’re nearing completion on our project located near 114th Street and University Avenue in the County of Lubbock! This development features twelve 1-acre sites, with nine lots available for future development. We’re currently in the final stages, awaiting plat approval from the County Commissioner to bring this project across the finish line.

Excited for the opportunities this will bring to the area — stay tuned for more updates!
