The right generator isn’t just about the brand. ⚡

We install and service KOHLER, Generac, Cummins, Briggs & Stratton, and other major brands. Our recommendation starts with your home what you want to keep running, your available fuel source, installation location, and electrical needs.

Sometimes that’s KOHLER. Sometimes another option makes more sense. Either way, we’ll explain why.

If we've done work at your place, would you leave us a review? ⭐

It's the single most useful thing a customer can do for a local company, and it's how the next family in Lake City or Gainesville decides whether to call somebody they've never met.

Search Holly Companies on Google, or find the link at hollycompanies.com.

And thank you to the 100-plus of you who already have. The crews do hear about them.

Your generator’s exercise cycle isn’t the same as maintenance. 🔧

Regular service can help catch issues like a weak battery, corrosion, fuel-system problems, or worn components before an outage puts your generator to the test.

Holly Companies services residential and commercial generators from KOHLER, Generac, Cummins, Briggs & Stratton, and other major brands—even if we didn’t install them.

A lot of what we do doesn't involve a generator at all. ⚡

Panel upgrades, rewires, new circuits, EV charger installs, outlets and fixtures, and the troubleshooting that older North Florida homes eventually need. Electrical work is where this company started and it's still a big part of the work.

Signs your panel is asking for attention: breakers that trip on the same circuit over and over, lights that dim when the AC kicks on, a fuse box instead of breakers, or a panel that's simply out of room. If you're adding a car charger, a shop, or a standby generator, the panel is usually the first conversation anyway.

Hurricane season ends November 30. Outages don’t. ⚡

Here in North Florida, power outages can happen for plenty of reasons beyond a named storm severe thunderstorms, fallen trees, damaged power lines, equipment issues, or utility work.

A properly installed standby generator is designed to detect an outage, start automatically, and provide backup power to the circuits and systems it’s sized to support until utility power returns.

So even when hurricane season is over, your backup power plan can still be ready.

If you’ve been thinking about a standby generator, we’ll help you understand what your home needs and walk you through your options.

Things we hear on service calls, ranked by how worried we are: 🔌

"It's been doing that for a while."
"I already tried resetting it."
"My brother-in-law is pretty handy."
"It only sparks a little."

That last one, call us today. The other three too.

The part of the job nobody takes a picture of: the cleanup. 🧹

Our crews sweep, haul away job-related debris, and leave the work area clean and orderly. It’s a small detail, but it’s part of doing the job right.

The same attention goes inside the panel: neat wire runs, clearly labeled breakers, and terminations properly torqued and checked.

You may rarely open that panel door but we wire it with the same care as if you did.

None of it is dramatic. It’s simply the standard we bring to every job.
