2. Eave height: how tall the walls are where they meet the roof.
3. Purlins and girts: the horizontal framing that carries the roof and wall panels.
4. Base plate: the steel plate at the foot of each column where it anchors down.

The best time to plan insulation is before the frame goes up.

Plan it with the building and your insulation fits the frame, the panels, and the way you'll use the space. A workshop you're in all summer has different needs than storage that just has to stay dry.

We offer two systems:

Woven reinforced fiberglass blanket. A single layer installed between the framing and the exterior panels, with a white v***r barrier facing that leaves a clean, finished interior. R-10 to R-25 and up. Best for storage, ag buildings, and lighter-use spaces in a moderate climate.

Banded insulation system. Two layers of fiberglass blanket supported by steel bands for continuous coverage and higher R-values, R-19 to R-38 and up. This is the one for climate-controlled space, larger warehouses and shops, and buildings that have to meet stricter energy codes.

Short version: storage stays dry with blanket. Conditioned space wants banded.
