A little trailer door repair…
The tube rusted out and with the tension of the cables folded the bottom tube over and well you can imagine the mess from there.
Cut the bad out, welded in a new bottom rail, and set both cables. I’ll see what I can do about putting the trim back on tomorrow. The hard parts done now!

Rounded out the weekend with this hit little dude. For size reference a 1-2-3 block next to it. Needless to say weld some then wait so I didn’t over heat it. And yes that paper towel was the perfect shim for fit up! Welding inside those gussets was amazing as well!

Explorer stage 2 complete.
Front struts replaced was going to change the sway bar end links too but we had the wrong parts and they looked pretty new anyhow.
A full couple days getting this ole girl set up right. A water pump, thermostat housing, wiring repaired, and struts at all 4 corners!
