We’re pleased to announce that we have acquired architecture, interior design, and MEP engineering firm Hafer Inc.

Headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, Hafer brings more than four decades of thoughtful, quality-driven design and a longstanding commitment to strong client relationships and the communities it serves. With offices in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois, Hafer’s multidisciplinary team also offers landscape architecture, planning, and sustainable design services.

This partnership brings together two organizations with aligned values, complementary capabilities, and a shared vision for the future. Together, we will expand opportunities for collaboration and growth among our teams while strengthening the integrated services and resources available to clients and communities.

Infrastructure improvements at Dreamview Luxury Suites in Estes Park, Colorado, went beyond supporting the development and helped restore a healthier, more functional Fall River.

Galloway’s civil engineering and water resources teams helped replace an undersized bridge with a new two-way crossing while restoring approximately 150 linear feet of river channel. By removing flow restrictions and incorporating natural channel features, the design improves hydraulic performance, enhances aquatic habitat and fish passage, and supports safer access to the development.

The result: infrastructure that works better for both the site and the surrounding environment.

Inspired by the local apple and pear orchards, interiors at Valley Grove Apartments in Pleasant Grove, Utah, use a palette rooted in warmth, texture, and natural character. 🎨

Honey-toned cabinetry, natural wood flooring, rustic brick-inspired backsplashes, and subtle green accents reflect the colors and materials of the orchard landscape across 472 units. Meanwhile darker wood finishes and layered textures add a refined, hospitality-inspired feel to nearly 24,000 square feet of shared amenity spaces.

Our multidisciplinary team carried these details throughout the property, creating variety for residents while maintaining a connection to the site’s history for an elevated multifamily living experience distinctly tied to Pleasant Grove.

As people head outdoors to enjoy trails this summer, we’re reflecting on the volunteer work that helps keep these spaces accessible and enjoyable.

Earlier this summer, Galloway volunteers joined Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) and our partners at Behm Consulting Group at Mt. Blue Sky Outdoor Lab in Evergreen, Colorado. Together, the group refurbished approximately 400 yards of trail by clearing vegetation and constructing check dams, rock walls, and rock steps.

For more than six years, Galloway team members have volunteered with VOC multiple times a year, reflecting our continued commitment to caring for the outdoor spaces our communities enjoy. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and plenty of sweat and dirt to make a lasting impact!

Galloway is working with the ranch’s staff on a phased transformation of the 350-acre property, preserving the character guests have cherished for decades while creating a vision for the years ahead. Our multidisciplinary team is providing architecture, interior design, surveying, and civil engineering services to thoughtfully modernize the ranch, balancing its rich history with durable, sustainable improvements.

With the first phase complete, including staff housing, north arena, and meadows, this next chapter is already underway.
