Wyco Field Services is looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to join our Arizona team.

Following are the general requirements:

· Two years of Civil 3D 2014 or newer drafting experience

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Working knowledge of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards

· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with drafters and engineers

· Working knowledge of right-of-way, public utility easement protocols, utility design, and aerial/underground installation

· Knowledge of IPS site surveys to include field notes, photos, and building entrance methods

· Valid Driver's License with relatively clean driving record.

· Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

· Run, terminate, pull, and test copper cable

· Install and terminate fiber optic cable

· Test and troubleshoot a variety of cable types

· Follow work procedures and company policies

· Maintain cleanliness and safety on job site

· Submit required documentation

· Assist with all aspects of the project as needed

· Work with flexibility in scheduling to meet production goals.

· Complete accurate and timely daily paperwork.

· Manage truck inventory of equipment, tools, and parts.

Minimum Qualifications

· High School diploma or GED

· Valid Arizona driver's license

· 1+ years’ experience installing low voltage cabling (Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cable)

· Experience with punch-downs, terminations, pulling, and testing

· Ability to read Blue Prints

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb.

Preferred Qualifications

· 2-3 years experience terminating fiber

· 2 years experience using an Exfo tester

· 2+ years’ experience installing low voltage cabling (Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cable)

Wyco Field Services is looking for a Fiber Technician to join our location team.

Responsibilities: • Ability to install, troubleshoot, splice, and maintain fiber optic systems • Prep and hang fiber optic enclosures, nodes, and related equipment • Route, splice, and/or terminate fiber in equipment racks at central offices, hub sites, and other various MPOE's • Perform fusion splicing • Perform OTDR and Power Meter tests • Perform optical power loss tests • Read and create design maps, fiber schematics and basic electronic designs • Operate aerial lift and other related equipment to perform job functions • Frequently communicate with management on workload status • Occasionally performs routine construction work; i.e. pulling rope/cables, climb ladders, use hand tools, dig with a shovel, etc.

Requirements: • Light mechanical skills • Ability to work without direct supervision • Strong organizational skills • Professional demeanor • Vendor management experience

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record for driving to and from assigned projects in company vehicles

• Must be able to pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screening

• Ability to work in all weather conditions including extreme heat and/or cold - 95% of time working outdoors

Wyco Field Services is looking for a Telecom Field Laborer to join our Phoenix, Arizona team.

This position is responsible for general construction field support based on project deliverables.

Responsibilities:

· Identify utility lines

· Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs. and navigate construction job site terrain

· Dig pits, trenches, and foundations in preparation for job site construction

· Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles

· Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site

· Direct traffic when necessary to ensure the safety of pedestrians, motorists, and work crew

· Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary

· Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew

Requirements:

· 1 Year laborer experience

· Technical education preferred

· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record for driving to and from assigned projects in company vehicles
