Today marks a historic moment in the Chickasaw Nation.
For nearly 40 years, Governor Bill Anoatubby has led our Nation with unwavering dedication, vision, and a deep commitment to the Chickasaw people. Among his many lasting legacies is his steadfast support of First American artists, ensuring our culture, traditions, and creativity not only endure but thrive.
Because of that commitment, countless artists including myself have been given opportunities to create, grow, and share our work. It has been an incredible honor to use my own craft in a small way to help express our gratitude for everything he has done.
Words cannot fully capture the appreciation I have for Governor Anoatubby, both personally and professionally. His leadership has shaped lives, strengthened our Nation, and inspired generations.
Governor Anoatubby, thank you for your decades of service, your belief in our people, and your unwavering investment in our future. I am proud to be one of the many lives you've impacted.
As our Nation begins this new chapter, I have every confidence that Governor Chris Anoatubby will continue that legacy by championing First American artists and building upon the remarkable foundation that has been laid.
