Classes are a go!!! I’m planning for the first class to be available this Saturday! I’ve set up a private group and started inviting everyone who was initially interested. Test class went off without a hitch!! My wife came out and forged her own knife in 100° heat to help me prepare for the upcoming classes. I learned just as much as she did and I’m stoked to get all of you in the shop.

Hey everyone! The classes are still gonna happen, just have to postpone for a bit to get back on my feet. The theft isn’t the end, over the past couple days I’ve watched this community (all of you) rally around and show overwhelming support and it has left me devastated (in a good way, if that makes any sense) and inspired. I’m not sure how long it’s going to take to come back from this, but I can promise you this isn’t the end. Thank you so much for all of your help, I love you all.

Well, sad news sometime between Friday the 8th and today, Tuesday the 12th, someone broke into the shop. They made off with everything that wasn’t too heavy to carry. Tons of my tools some of Kellie’s , and most importantly all of my work minus one sculpture. Rather than post individual items that were stolen, I’ll share my touch mark if you see someone trying to sell a bunch of forged knives/items with this touch mark please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

CLASSES ARE COMING!!! The first class will be Railroad spike knives!!! I’ll teach you the fundamentals of Bladesmithing, grinding and heat treating and at the end of the day you leave with a knife you forged by hand with a personalized leather sheath!! Pricing is $100 per person and I can only accept 2 students at a time. If you’re interested comment on this post or shoot me a message and I’ll add you to the waiting list. If you have anyone you think would be interested tag them in the comments and spread the news, this has been in the works for while and I’m super excited to start!

Catch up post!! Here are a few non culinary pieces I’ve been working on. Also have a small l batch of chefs I’m finishing up, that will be posted soon. Do hashtags even matter anymore? Who knows, here’s a few anyway.

Due to Meta’s odd restrictions on content on their platforms, specifically the work of cutlers, smiths, and any edged tools in general I haven’t posted in a while, so how about a catch up post. Left to right, an AEB-L chef and paring dressed in purple heart and blue kirinite, a bull cutter dressed in mahogany with a branded handle and sheath, a trade dressed in Curley maple with sheath and a rehandled Estwing hatchet and a Rapala Fillet rehandled in African Blackwood. Thanks to everyone who supported me in the transition into a brick and mortar business and for making a good end to an otherwise hectic year.
