Today’s our 10th birthday! Last week we were tasked to provide a pre match light, laser and pyro show for Southampton Football Club’s Premier League clash with Chelsea. Alongside our usual match day technical operations, the show was delivered to a rapturous reception amidst some challenging weather conditions. As always, a pleasure to work with SFC and we can’t wait to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible at St Mary’s.

Last weekend we were tasked to provide all site audio to the FIM International Motocross of Nations at Matterly Basin MX track in Wi******er. The end of May saw an exceptionally busy few days for us at Southampton FC, as the club were promoted back into the premier league after a win over Leeds FC at Wembley Stadium.
As the club’s official production supplier, we were tasked to provide a complete AV solution for the match days at St Mary’s leading up to the final, a temporary Fan Zone setup at Wembley Stadium, as well as a celebration event back at St Mary’s, the day after the final. The extremely tight turnarounds and short notice periods were testament to our organisational flexibility and ample resource, all of which were put to the test over a gruelling few days.

The run of events gave us a chance to deploy our brand new 3.9mm 28m² mobile trailer screens, which had arrived just days before the show and were custom branded for the occasion. These were deployed at both Wembley and St Mary’s Stadiums.

As ever, a huge thanks to our crew who worked on each event, it was a fantastic weekend and we were very proud to have delivered such a high quality product in such a short time frame.

We recently had the pleasure of being back on the Sandbanks beach for & . We provided a complete audio solution for both events, with a distributed .acoustics.official system. De-prep involved a lot of compressed air and broom action, that sand really does get everywhere! Big thanks to our fantastic team for putting on a great show in a challenging environment.

Big venue = Big system! This week we were delighted to provide a sub heavy .acoustics.official system for Dizzee Rascal’s O2 arena Return, as well as a control package for supporting artists JME and Lady Leshurr.

The main system comprised of 12x K1 + 4x K2 main hangs, with 12x flown KS28 sub and 8x K2 + 3x Kara II out fills, per side. On the floor were another 16x KS28, 12x Kara II and 4x X8’s for front fill. The system was powered by 40x LA12X, all driven from P1 via redundant AVB over fibre with analog failover. Control on the stage end was a .official Quantum 225 and FOH was a CL5.

Thanks to our brilliant crew for putting on a great show, with tight time constraints.

It’s home! We’ve finally had a large shipment of our .acoustics.official K2 and Kara II return from Qatar, where it was installed in the Al Bayt stadium for the Football World Cup. A very deep clean and testing is on the cards for the next few days, before heading out on an arena tour next month. The busy season is here!
