A new frontier 🚀

From today, RS Aqua pivots into galactic exploration. Conscious of our environmental responsibility, our experts are actively recycling our defunct oceanographic sensors and robotic equipment into parts for a highly-capable spacecraft. The Flux Odyssey Outpost Lander (F-OOL) will take us to the far reaches of our galaxy.

Fast, lightweight and easy to use, SEABER AUVs are perfect for modern defence.

We're taking a look at how the shared passion of four experts led to SEABER, a French micro-AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) manufacturer which has revolutionised both scientific data collection with the original YUCO AUV, and now the defence industry with its RECALL AUV.

Designed to realistically simulate submarine noise and motion, RECALL specialises in ASW training with its multiple modes, an intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI) and rapid recovery.

We’re ecstatic to bring our latest advancements in ocean technology to Ocean Business 2025. We’ll be on hand throughout the event, which takes place on Tuesday 8th April until Thursday 10th April at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton.

As well as a demonstrating our technology on booth G1, we'll also be presenting talks on both Project MARLIN and Ocean Careers.

'MARLIN: Revolutionising Ocean Monitoring with Automated Marine Mammal & Vessel Classification' will delve into the development process of this game-changing acoustic technology, including how we recorded underwater sounds from UK coastlines, and have already built a low power machine-learning model which can detect marine mammals.

As part of the Ocean Careers programme which provides guidance and inspiration to navigate your career, 'Advancing Ocean Research: Careers and the Equipment that's Driving Innovation' navigates through Phoebe's journey to a Senior Ocean Scientist at RS Aqua.
