Due to recent contract awards, we’re strengthening our offshore fire safety team.

We’re currently looking to expand our offshore team with experienced Fire Safety Technicians who understand the realities of working in live, safety‑critical environments.

The role involves the inspection, service, and maintenance of fire safety and life‑saving equipment, carried out to recognised standards and under real operational conditions.

Minimum essential certifications include:

- 3M Scott Breathing Apparatus
- Ansul R102
- Fire Extinguisher Technician
- FactAir air purity testing

Rotational positions are available for the right applicants, with opportunities to work across a range of offshore assets.

If you take pride in doing the job properly, understand that equipment condition directly affects people’s safety, and want to be part of a team trusted on critical contracts, we’d like to hear from you.

This is Freya and her daughter, Scotia.

Sadly, they were both abandoned at the reception of Mrs Murray's Home for Stray Dogs and Cats

When Freya arrived, she was severely overweight and unwell, tipping the scales at 38kg. Since then, her transformation has been remarkable.

With care, consistency, and plenty of movement (including regular sessions at Zoomies Off‑Lead Park) Freya has lost an incredible 10kg. More importantly, she’s regained her energy, confidence, and love for running.

Scotia has been right by her side throughout, and both girls are now healthy, happy, and ready for their next chapter.

If you or someone you know may be able to offer Freya or Scotia a loving, forever home, please consider getting in touch with Mrs Murray's Home for Stray Dogs and Cats or sharing their story.

Mental health emergencies don’t always look like emergencies.

We know that the welfare of our people goes beyond their physical safety. That’s why several members of our team are trained in mental health first aid.

It means there’s a first line of support available if someone is struggling - in the same way we respond to a physical health incident. Trained colleagues who know what to look for and how to act. Because looking out for one another is more than a “nice to have”.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’d encourage all workplaces to consider the same approach. You may never need it, but if you do, having the right support in place can make all the difference.

Because caring for people is fundamental to safe, reliable operations.

Earth Day is a reminder that sustainability isn’t something we talk about once a year. iI’s something we practise every day.

We believe that leadership is measured not just by results, but by how those results are achieved. The environments we work in demand careful, responsible decisions that consider people, communities, and the world around us.

That’s why Flare Cares is built on four pillars: the Environment, the Community, our People, and Leading with Integrity. They guide how we plan work, manage risk, and support offshore operations.

When sustainability is embedded into everyday decisions, it leads to safer work, stronger relationships, and a business built to last.

A company like Flare is built by the people who turn up every day and get the job done properly.

This morning, we recognised Mike for five years of service with Flare.

Mike has a reputation for stepping in wherever he’s needed, whether the task is big or small. Often the job is already finished before the discussion even starts about who might take it on!

That kind of reliability, initiative, and experience makes a real difference to the way we work and the standards we hold ourselves to.

Mike, thank you for the commitment and hard work you’ve shown over the past five years. We appreciate everything you bring to the team and look forward to many more years working together.

Keeping operations safe and efficient isn’t just about equipment on-site – it’s also about the systems behind the scenes. Raluca, our in-house Software Engineer, plays a vital role in building the tools that help teams make better decisions and keep processes running smoothly.

A typical day might see them writing code in .NET, C # and JavaScript, fixing bugs, or collaborating with the team to design new features. Some days are all about problem-solving, others all about teamwork – and Raluca enjoys that balance.

"The most rewarding part of my job is seeing something I’ve built actually being used. Turning an idea into a feature that helps people do their jobs more easily is unbeatable."

Though new to Flare, she is already contributing to systems that underpin operational safety, helping teams access the right data at the right time to keep people and environments safe.

So, what makes Flare stand out?
"Definitely the people. It’s a really supportive environment where everyone is willing to help and share knowledge – it’s a great place to learn and grow."

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Raluca painting, cooking, or travelling. She loves experimenting with new recipes and using painting as a creative way to switch off – though sometimes the painting ends up more chaotic than the coding!

At Flare, we’ve always believed that leadership isn’t only about the results you deliver — it’s about the way you get there.

Sustainability, people, community, and integrity aren’t slogans for us. They shape day‑to‑day decisions, from the way we design safety solutions to the way our teams operate on site.

These four pillars — the Environment, the Community, our People, and Leading with Integrity — guide how we work and who we choose to be as a business.

Because when we get these right, we don’t just support safer operations today.
We help build a company — and an industry — capable of standing the test of time.

Mobilising specialist safety equipment across borders isn’t just posting parcels.

It’s compliance deadlines, vessel schedules, certification windows, and zero room for error.
That’s where our Operations Team thrives.

Day in, day out, they coordinate mobilisations across all corners of the world, manage critical certification, align technical teams, and keep assets operationally ready – usually against tight timelines and fast-changing conditions.

McKenzie and Staszczynska lead from the front, ensuring every detail is aligned before boots hit the deck.

And in the field, our technicians turn this planning into performance. Adapting it in real time to ensure compliance and keep projects moving.

Operational excellence isn’t a corporate slogan. It’s disciplined coordination under pressure.

We’re proud to work alongside the people who make it happen.
