We were incredibly proud to attend the Hunter Region Business Hub Awards earlier this month.

To be recognised with the Trade & Industry Award and to see General Manager, Jeremy Morgan personally acknowledged was both humbling and rewarding.

While Jeremy accepted the awards on behalf of Morgan Engineering, his message was simple:
These awards belong to our team. Every day our people show up. They bring their skills, commitment and professionalism to every workshop job, site call-out, repair, fabrication project and customer interaction.

They buy into our culture. They look after each other. They uphold our standards and they continue to prove what can be achieved when a group of dedicated people work towards the same goal.

At Morgan Engineering we have always believed that success is built on more than technical capability. It's built on trust, teamwork, reliability and a commitment to doing the job right.

To our entire team, thank you and congratulations. These awards are a reflection of every one of you.

Thank you to the HUB for hosting a beautiful night at Ben Ean where we can celebrate the success of so many talented people and companies from the Hunter Valley.

"If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."

We respectfully disagree.

Real psychosocial safety isn't about staying quiet. It's about having the confidence to speak up, challenge respectfully and have the conversations that keep people safe.

Proud to see our General Manager, Jeremy Brett featured in OHS Alert sharing how Morgan Engineering's approach to trust, accountability and open communication that has strengthened our culture and delivered measurable results.

Because when trust is built, people don't stay silent. They step up.

Smart engineering backed by practical problem solving.

Tayla Gall works with us as one of our tradie ladies and is now studying engineering at Newcastle Uni while still working casual shifts with the Morgan crew.

As part of a university engineering project, Tayla and her team were given the brief: Design and build a wind energy conversion system to support energy generation for individuals maintaining communication during natural disasters.

With a tight budget and a real-world problem to solve, the team designed and built a compact vertical axis wind turbine, with parts of the project brought to life using Morgan Engineering’s 3D printing capabilities.
Using stainless steel hardware and a custom three-blade H-Rotor design, the turbine was built to operate in turbulent and changing wind conditions, achieving a startup speed of just 1.3m/s.

Even better? The team recently received their final results, achieving a High Distinction for the project. 👏

This is the kind of hands-on engineering we love seeing. People learning, building, testing and creating real solutions instead of just talking about them.
Industry needs more people like Tayla. Women willing to back themselves in trades, engineering, manufacturing and innovation.

We are proud we could play a small part in the project and even prouder watching our people grow beyond the workshop walls.

What a week in the Hunter.

We have had rain, icy winds, all but sleet, and even a double rainbow thrown in for good measure.

You might not find a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow, but you'll find our field service team out there doing what they do best.

Day or night, rain or shine, our crew provides 24/7 support across the Hunter Valley and around the country, helping keep critical operations moving when it matters most.

We are incredibly proud of these men and women. No matter the conditions, they continue to deliver the high-quality workmanship, professionalism and to the safety standards Morgan Engineering is known for.

It takes a special kind of person to answer the call at all hours, work through challenging conditions, and never compromise on safety or quality.

To our field service team: thank you. Your commitment, resilience, and dedication don't go unnoticed.

And with the long weekend upon us, remember our team remains available 24/7 to support your operations whenever you need us.

For 24/7 support contact our team on 0493 281 247.

We are excited to officially welcome Felicity “Flick” Chamen to the Morgan Engineering team as our newest Administration superstar.

Flick joins us with a wealth of experience across purchasing, inductions, payroll, and plant maintenance roles, proving she’s no stranger to wearing many hats and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

A proud mum and Singleton local for nearly 20 years, Flick brings not only knowledge and capability, but also warmth, humour, and the kind of energy that lifts the whole office. She’s jumped straight into the chaos beautifully and has already told us she loves that we are “just as mad as she is” which honestly means she fits right in. 😂

Flick says she’s enjoying the warm, comfortable, and welcoming culture here at Morgan Engineering. And honestly? We are grateful she’s brings her good vibes through the door each day.

As Flick puts it:
“I am excited to be part of a team where I can make a meaningful impact, support operations, and build strong working relationships.”
That mindset is exactly what Morgan Engineering is all about.

Please join us in making Flick feel welcome as part of the team. We are lucky to have her on board and can’t wait to see the positive impact she continues to make.

Welcome to the madness, Flick. We are glad you’re here.
