At closing time, a customer contacted us needing a critical part to keep their equipment operating. Without the part, they were facing costly downtime the following morning.

The Parts Sales team quickly identified the correct item, confirmed availability, and worked closely with the Warehouse team to prioritise the order.

The warehouse staff immediately picked, checked, and packed the part, ensuring it met our quality standards while still meeting the tight timeframe.

Because both teams communicated effectively and were willing to go the extra mile, the order was dispatched the same day. The customer received the part in time, avoided unnecessary downtime, and expressed their appreciation for the fast response and excellent service.

We’re proud to share that our workshop apprentices recently joined our field service team on-site for the first time, assisting with drill servicing and repairs.

The feedback from the field was outstanding, with our apprentices demonstrating strong technical knowledge, a great work ethic, and a positive can-do attitude throughout the job.

It’s fantastic to see the growth and development of our young team members as they progress from workshop-based repairs to supporting customers on-site. Opportunities like these are an important part of building the next generation of skilled technicians, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts.

New Generation Contamination Control Monitor/Screen

Drill Doctors have been able to bring our old analogue contamination monitoring system into the digital age with a fully programmed digital touchscreen and associated hardware.

This system can be fitted as a standalone hydraulic oil contamination monitoring system, detecting ferrous metals in the return (case drain) circuits from all makes of pumps and motors. This provides early detection of failing components before a major machine downtime event.

The system uses a magnetic switch coupled with a dry break valve for easy, no-mess removal and inspection of the magnetic contacts. Monitoring of the entire electrical circuit makes it easy to diagnose open, short, or contaminated circuits, logging all active faults and history.

The screen can be customised to suit your needs and can monitor from one to an unlimited number of sensors.

These young men recently presented us with a team jersey as a token of appreciation, and it’s something we’ll be honored to display in our reception.
