New Generation Contamination Control Monitor/Screen

Drill Doctors have been able to bring our old analogue contamination monitoring system into the digital age with a fully programmed digital touchscreen and associated hardware.

This system can be fitted as a standalone hydraulic oil contamination monitoring system, detecting ferrous metals in the return (case drain) circuits from all makes of pumps and motors. This provides early detection of failing components before a major machine downtime event.

The system uses a magnetic switch coupled with a dry break valve for easy, no-mess removal and inspection of the magnetic contacts. Monitoring of the entire electrical circuit makes it easy to diagnose open, short, or contaminated circuits, logging all active faults and history.

The screen can be customised to suit your needs and can monitor from one to an unlimited number of sensors.

It’s something we value highly, and we’re committed to continuing this support into the future, helping create opportunities for the younger generation to get involved in a sport they love in Rugby League while proudly representing their culture and community.

These young men recently presented us with a team jersey as a token of appreciation, and it’s something we’ll be honored to display in our reception. From all of us at Drill Doctors, we wish Sean, his coaching staff, all the helpers, and the young men all the best for the 2026 Koori Knockout in Raymond Terrace. Friday night. After hours. PLC fault.

One call to our Product Support team, and diagnostics began immediately.

Working remotely with the site electrician, we stepped through the PLC status, I/O modules and Pro-face HMI alarms in real time, checking communications, inputs and interlocks.

The issue was identified within the control logic, with clear reset and restart instructions provided over the phone.

No mobilisation.
No unnecessary downtime.
Machine back online the same night.

Above and Beyond — That’s How We Do It

When a customer urgently needed three service kits within just three days — kits we’d never supplied before — the clock was ticking.

Our Parts & Purchasing team jumped straight in. The warehouse supervisor personally drove to the supplier to collect the parts, and when the order was accidentally sent on freight, he even tracked down the driver to make sure nothing was delayed.

The result? The kits arrived on site ahead of time and the customer was back up and running.

Teamwork. Commitment. Customer first — always. 👏
