Cameron Machinery Co are looking for a 1st Year Boilermaker Apprentice to join their team.
Throughout your apprenticeship you will be working closely with qualified and experienced tradespeople, Supervisors and other Apprentices you will gain valuable skills & knowledge to ultimately secure your trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade).
As an Apprentice Boilermaker you will learn how to cut, shape, assemble and weld steel and use and maintain a wide range of machinery, and will have exposure working in a workshop environment as well as various client sites.
We will invest in you over the four year apprenticeship so you can continue your career with us.
Duties that you will be responsible for but not limited too:
• Read drawings and specifications of a job
• Welding, bending, folding and polishing steel
• Fabrication and cutting
• Grinding
• General clean up
Pre-Requisites:
• Must have current drivers licence
• Consent to a medical and drug and alcohol testing
• Completion of Year 10 or equivalent
