We didn’t buy a building, slap a name on it and say, “We’re Chevs of the 40’s.” Neither were we a planned business venture. When President Ron Wade began restoring his 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Cabriolet, he found himself running in circles searching for the correct restoration parts. If he couldn’t find it, he had it made. Many of the parts had to be ordered in such a large volume that he beg

an placing classified ads selling these parts that nobody else offered. That was almost four decades ago. Now Chevs has over 25,000 square feet of shelf space, 20 full-time employees who run the day-to-day operation, and the latest in computer technology. What was a rather limited supply of parts four decades ago has turned into well over 800,000 parts in stock from which you can choose. A lot was learned restoring Ron’s Cabriolet. Countless hours have been dedicated to having the correct parts made as well as improving the products we sell today.
