Happy Labor Day to the people who don’t really get Labor Day off.

Cattle still need checked. Hay still needs hauled. Equipment still breaks. Chores still have to be done. And apparently, nobody told the livestock it was a federal holiday.

Agriculture has never been much of a punch-the-clock kind of industry. It’s early mornings, late nights, missed weekends, plans changed because something broke, and getting the job done whether it’s 105° or 15°.

We’re fortunate that our job at Top Hand puts us alongside the farmers and ranchers doing that work every day. We build, sell and service equipment — but at the end of the day, our job is to help make their job a little easier.

So today, here’s to the people still checking cows, feeding livestock, fixing fence, hauling hay, turning wrenches and doing whatever else needs done.

Dear Football Gods,

It’s a fresh season, and we are respectfully requesting that NONE of the bad Oklahoma State football voodoo follow us into this one.

Leave it all behind. The weird losses. The questionable calls. The injuries. The “surely we can’t screw this up” moments immediately followed by… well, you know. 😂

We have suffered enough.

We’ll be cheering from the side-by-side while checking first-calf heifers, checking the score from the shop while installing bale beds, and hopefully making it to Stillwater for a little tailgating somewhere in between.

Maybe we’ll even get an updated tailgate picture this year. Until then, enjoy this throwback from back when we were younger, our jeans were lower, and we still believed being an Oklahoma State fan was good for our blood pressure. 😂

New season. Clean slate. Completely unreasonable levels of optimism restored.
