I recently had the opportunity to host a dozen Career Tech student board members, they came from all over the state. There was 5 young ladies and 7 gentlemen .They were there to do learn something about forging , I decided we would forge a steak turner. None of them had any experience blacksmithing. So 2 hours and a few blisters they all walked out a functioning turner that could hang on a hook. I was very impressed by these young people, they were engaged listened to my instruction and did the best they could to do the project. They by far exceeded my expectations.
