Senate Bill 131 has to do with stopping for profit insurance companies from taking over and running our State Medicaid Program through a MCO (Managed Care Organization). Managed care was tried before in Oklahoma and ultimately ended up being nixed. Senate Bill 131 passed the House of Representatives. Now it has to pass in the Senate.
