Welded the attachment plates after doing some good ol millwright layout, there will be a rail on top too when the bolts come in. Frame for the Scotch Yoke Next and the z axis linear rails.

Slow night squaring and boring the bearing housing for the Renegade Shock Dyno Scotch Yoke, this is part of a weldment that I want square so I squared up this after welding and look on all 4 sides. This will hold the double row of bearings to carry extra load, bearing retainer is next. This will go on a top and bottom plate that will attach to the two linear blocks on the linear rails that will allow for linear motion without play and easy service later.

The idea is to get to making parts to stock and getting further from custom items. This just suits my time better when I can do things when I am available. I have 3 cars for updates and repairs on the dock starting the end of this month as well so already booked out quit a ways there. Here’s a preview of what’s in the works!
