A first look at the finished College of Coastal Georgia Center for the Arts, captured beautifully by The Fortune Image.

Located on CCG’s Brunswick campus, this new 32,328-square-foot facility was designed to serve as a cultural hub for students, Glynn County Schools and the greater coastal Georgia community. Anchored by a 1,000-seat state-of-the-art performance auditorium, the Center supports everything from music and dance performances to lectures, theatrical productions, community gatherings and special events.

Hussey Gay Bell is proud to have provided architecture, interior design, civil engineering, structural engineering, permitting, construction phase services and close-out for this impactful project. From early planning through final delivery, our team brought thoughtful design, technical coordination and a shared commitment to creating a space that will serve the arts, education and community engagement for years to come.

We’re grateful to have worked alongside an incredible project team, including Theatre Projects, Dulohery Weeks, Stage Front, Mandel Design, J&A Engineering, and Gleeds.

One of Hussey Gay Bell’s largest water/wastewater projects to date, the West Ashley Sewer Tunnel Extension Phase VI, was featured by The Post & Courier for its role in strengthening Charleston’s critical wastewater infrastructure.

This final phase of Charleston Water System ’s multi-decade Sewer Tunnel Replacement Program extends approximately 20,000 linear feet beneath the West Ashley Greenway, 130 feet below ground, and is designed to increase capacity, improve reliability and support long-term resiliency for West Ashley, John’s Island and surrounding service areas.

Hussey Gay Bell is proud to support this landmark effort as a subconsultant to Black & Veatch, providing civil engineering/site development, water and wastewater engineering, surveying, permitting and construction phase services. We are grateful to contribute to a project led by such an accomplished team and trusted partner in infrastructure delivery.

Projects like this may happen far below the surface, but their impact on the community is significant!
