🏆 A proud moment for Team Urban!

Urban is honored to be named the 2026 March of Dimes Transportation, Building & Construction (TB&C) Industry Challenge Team Champion.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our employees, we raised significant funds for March of Dimes through internal fundraisers throughout the year. This recognition reflects our team's commitment to giving back and making a difference.

Our President Jim Bilella and Vice Presidents Jen Waters and Andy Cushman accepted the award at the VIP reception during the 33rd Annual March of Dimes TB&C Awards Luncheon, where Urban was also a Platinum Sponsor.

A safer, greener connection to Philadelphia’s waterfront is officially open! 🚲

Urban joined City of Philadelphia Government, Philadelphia Department of Streets officials, the Delaware River Waterfront, and project partners to celebrate the completion of the Washington Avenue Connector.

Urban provided construction management and inspection services for the project, which features a new trail connection, separated bike lane, expanded sidewalks, improved pedestrian crossings, and enhanced landscaping to improve safety, accessibility, and waterfront connectivity.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)’s $111M RC2 Section spans five miles of the busy U.S. 1 Corridor, carrying 90,000+ vehicles daily. As the Construction Management Consultant, Urban helped deliver the project a full year ahead of schedule, boosting safety, capacity, and mobility.

Did you know the 120-year-old New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, a six-span pin-connected Pratt Truss extending 1,050 feet across the Delaware River, has been transformed into a safe, efficient, multimodal bridge after the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) commissioned its rehabilitation?

Urban provided CMCI for this landmark project, overcoming sensitive challenges with the project team along the way.
