Pennsylvania's hospitals are evolving, and not just through new buildings.

Earlier this week at Bisnow’s Healthcare Real Estate Summit, O’Donnell & Naccarato CEO Anthony Naccarato moderated the panel, "The Hospital Reinvented: Campus Modernization, Capacity & the Next Generation of Acute Care," exploring how health systems are replacing aging infrastructure, expanding capacity, and planning facilities for increasingly complex, technology-enabled care.

The conversation highlighted one of the industry's most complex challenges: delivering major capital projects while maintaining uninterrupted patient care and daily operations on active hospital campuses.

O&N joined the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) team for CANstruction Pittsburgh, helping bring this year’s design to life with more than 2,200 cans.

The annual competition challenges teams to build creative structures out of canned food, which is donated to local hunger relief organizations after the exhibition. It’s a great way to bring the AEC community together for a good cause!

Our team recently attended ICRI Metro NY Demo Day, a hands-on event focused on architectural terra cotta repair and restoration.

The event gave our team the opportunity to see materials and repair techniques firsthand, learn from experts across the industry, and connect with manufacturers about their products and applications. It also provided valuable time to connect with industry peers and exchange knowledge and ideas.

O'Donnell & Naccarato recently headed to Topgolf for an afternoon of golf and friendly competition. From solid swings to… some very questionable ones, there was no shortage of fun.

We’re honored to share that the Alan Horwitz “Sixth Man” Center has received a Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Award for Leadership in Public Impact.

O’Donnell & Naccarato was proud to be part of the project team that transformed six historic warehouse buildings in Philadelphia’s Nicetown neighborhood into a vibrant new home for Philadelphia Youth Basketball.

The adaptive reuse preserves important elements of the site’s industrial history while creating space for basketball, education, community programs and other resources for local youth and residents.

It’s exciting to see this project recognized for the lasting impact it is making in the community. Congratulations to the entire project team and to all of this year’s Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Award recipients!

Demolition is nearing completion at The Fashion Mall at Keystone in Indianapolis as the southeastern section of the shopping center undergoes a major transformation. The project will renovate a portion of the former three-story Saks Fifth Avenue building while adding new one- and two-story retail space.

O’Donnell & Naccarato is providing structural engineering services for the redevelopment, which will introduce a new mix of retail, dining and lifestyle destinations to the campus.

Looking back at last month’s topping out at Union League Liberty Hill.

We’re proud to be providing structural engineering services for this project and were glad to join the team for the installation of the final beam for the new Liberty Ballroom. Once complete, the venue will accommodate up to 450 guests in a stunning new event space.

Great work by the entire project team. We’re looking forward to watching this one continue to take shape! 👏
