We had some excitement at the mall today. A tractor and trailer attempted to turn into the mall and drug 2 large boulders into the roadway of mall. A huge THANK YOU to Weakland's Mechanic and Wrecker Service. The wrecker operator was absolutely fabulous. He took control of the situation and moved one of the boulder back into its proper place. We cannot thank the driver of the wrecker enough for his efforts. It's greatly appreciated.

Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Needed!
Location: Loretto, PA 15940

Job Type: Full-time
Job description:
**This position involves a combination of off-site road service calls and in-shop work, performing heavy-duty repairs both in the field and at the shop as needed.**

Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and other components of heavy-duty vehicles
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and installations
- Perform tire service including mounting, balancing, and repairs
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair processes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Familiarity with tire service procedures
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills

**CDL license would be a plus**
