We learned two things at Crush Yard:

1. JWM has some surprisingly competitive pickleball players.
2. For others… it’s probably best to stick to your day job. 😂

Getting everyone together outside of work is one of those things that seems simple, but makes a difference. You get to know the people you work with, talk about something other than ACM, change orders, or what lift we need for the job site, and come back to the job a little more connected.

And we couldn’t let the day end without celebrating Ian Spallinger’s birthday! 🎂

Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

We recently wrapped up work at Med Center Health’s High Street Tower in Bowling Green, KY, and we’re proud to have been able to contribute to this large, multi-system architectural envelope project from engineering and fabrication through installation and final closeout.

The project brought together a wide range of materials and architectural details, including ACM, natural stone panels, single-skin metal panels, insulation, flashings, copings, vestibules, canopies, and other specialty conditions.

There were plenty of moving pieces along the way. Our team worked closely with Kelley Construction and the project partners to respond to design changes, field conditions, additional scope, and schedule requirements throughout construction.

Projects like this take a lot of coordination behind the scenes, and we’re proud of the craftsmanship and teamwork that went into delivering the finished exterior.

Special shoutout to Scott Franklin and the Kelley Construction, Inc.lley Construction team, and Omer Ozbek with Mitsubishi Chemical America - ALPOLIC Division. Thanks for the collaboration throughout the project!

Sometimes, you have to bring in the big dogs to brighten up the shop. 🐾

You’ve seen some familiar faces around the JWM team, but what about the Paw Patrol?

In honor of National Dog Day, we’re putting the spotlight on some of the four-legged members of the JWM family. They may not know their way around a TruBend, but behind the scenes, they’re pretty important members of the team, keeping spirits up, making the long hours a little better, and always being there when it’s time to call it a day.

So, from our family dogs to yours, Happy National Dog Day! We think they’ve earned their place on the JWM team, even if their most important job is waiting for us when we get home.

Today we’re celebrating Jeff Aycock and 10 years at JWM!

Ten years is a pretty big milestone! If you know Jeff, you know those 10 years have been filled with plenty of hard work, big decisions, laughs, stories, challenges, and probably a few “never a dull moment” conversations along the way.

But more than anything, Jeff has made an impact on the people around him. He’s been a mentor, a leader, a sounding board, and someone who has helped shape JWM into what it is today.

So we asked some of the people who work alongside him to tell us what Jeff means to them...

And they had a LOT to say.

We loved welcoming CR3W to JWM for a behind-the-scenes tour of our facility. Students got to see our equipment up close, learn about the work happening on the floor, and meet some of the people who make it all happen.

Big thanks to Adventure Science Center and their team for bringing CR3W our way! And a special thank you to Michelle Pruett, Joel Abramson, Trent Yatsky, Allie Glauch, and Paige Alkire for helping make the day possible.

We had a great time with you all and can’t wait to see you again next year!
