Audio Authority

We're an electronics manufacturer offering in-house design, production, and support.

Mission & Focus

At Audio Authority, we use our expertise in electronic design and manufacturing to create innovative products that solve problems and improve the lives of our customers, associates, and business partners. Our background in music performance and reproduction fuels our passion for inventions that demonstrate the best in sound and video quality for a completely engaging experience. Our goal is to become an invaluable business partner by focusing on three key benefits to our customers:

Increased Capability – We must provide distinctively better products and services, with capabilities beyond what our customers can provide for themselves, or obtain from our competitors. Reduced Aggravation - We must assume many of the responsibilities for the important and time-consuming details of accomplishing our customers' goals. We should always be valuable to them and make it easy to do business with us. Reduced Costs - We must provide solutions that achieve our customers’ goals and while saving them time and money. We pursue these goals by providing our associates with an ethical, dynamic work environment where they can realize the nobility of meaningful work, continue to learn and advance their skills, receive tangible appreciation for their contributions, and be accountable for their positive impact on others. We seek customers and business partners who appreciate our respect for confidentiality and the need for front-end collaboration to establish and achieve our mutual goals.

50 years of innovation, right here in Lexington!

We were honored to celebrate our golden anniversary last week with a visit from Mayor Linda Gorton, who officially proclaimed October 15th as "Audio Authority Day" across the city!

Since 1976, our growth has been driven by our incredible employees, loyal customers, and the vibrant Lexington community. While reaching 50 years is a proud milestone, we’re even more excited for what’s ahead as we continue to innovate and manufacture right here at home.

Thank you to Mayor Gorton and to everyone who has been part of our 50-year journey. Here’s to the next chapter!

We recently had the opportunity to celebrate three incredible team members and their remarkable milestones with our entire staff!

Doug Cartwright — 30 Years
Nic Morris — 30 Years
Curtis Lloyd — 25 Years

We gathered together for some refreshments, fellowship, and a special presentation recognizing each of them with a plaque commemorating their years of dedicated service.

Milestones like these are about more than just the number of years — they represent commitment, hard work, experience, and the many contributions that have helped make our company what it is today.

Thank you, Doug, Nic, and Curtis, for your dedication and for being such an important part of our team.

Congratulations on these incredible milestones and here’s to many more years of success together!

Celebrating 50 Years of Innovation!

In 2026, Audio Authority Corporation celebrates 50 years of designing, engineering, and manufacturing electronic products in the USA.

Founded in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1976, Audio Authority has grown from a supplier of hi-fi audio equipment into a diversified technology company serving industries ranging from retail and drive-up banking to consumer electronics and general aviation.

Through five decades of change, our mission has remained the same: solve customer challenges through innovative engineering, high-value products, and lasting partnerships.

“We’ve built our company by listening to our customers, deploying the best technology and creating high-value products,” says founder and CEO Jonathan Sisk.

We’re proud of our team, grateful to our customers and partners, and excited for what’s ahead!

Fifty years is an incredible milestone.

But we're not celebrating the finish line.

We're celebrating a foundation.

From our first speaker comparator in 1976 to today's advanced retail technology, intercom systems, aviation products, and connected solutions, every chapter of our history has prepared us for what's next.

As America enters its 250th year, we're reminded that innovation has always been about looking forward.
Thank you to our customers, employees, suppliers, partners, and friends for making this journey possible.

The technologies will change. The challenges will change.

Our commitment to innovation, quality, partnership, and American manufacturing will not.

Here's to the next chapter.

This year marks an incredible milestone for our founder, Jon Sisk - 50 years in business.

Over the years, Jon has made it a priority to recognize the people who make Audio Authority what it is, celebrating employee milestones and showing genuine appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

This time, we had the opportunity to turn the tables.

As a small token of our gratitude, we surprised Jon with a plaque honoring his 50 years of leadership, service, and commitment to Audio Authority. His vision, integrity, and unwavering care for both our customers and our team have shaped our company for five decades.

Congratulations, Jon, and thank you for the example you've set and the legacy you continue to build. Here's to this remarkable achievement, and to many more years ahead!

Technology has changed dramatically since 1976.

Our purpose hasn't.

At Audio Authority, our mission is to use innovative electronic design and manufacturing to solve problems and improve the lives of our customers, associates, and business partners.

That means creating solutions that help customers:
• Do more.
• Spend less time solving technical problems.
• Save money.
• Build lasting partnerships.

For fifty years we've believed that our greatest product isn't simply the hardware we build.

It's the value we create for the people who rely on us.

That's a mission worth celebrating!

Many manufacturers moved production overseas over the past several decades.

We chose a different path.

For fifty years, Audio Authority has continued designing, building, testing, and supporting our products from our headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.

Keeping engineering and manufacturing under one roof gives us something that's difficult to outsource:
Better quality
Faster response
Greater flexibility
Closer collaboration with our customers

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we're proud to continue investing in American manufacturing and the people who make it possible every day.

Thank you to every employee, supplier, customer, and partner who has been part of this journey.
