Our Fourth of July pride starts in the shop, not in the sky.

It’s the flag on the wall in the warehouse.
It’s the trucks that leave before sunrise.
It’s the people who show up day after day and take pride in their work.

MKS has been a locally rooted, hard‑working American business for 80 years.
We’ve grown, but we haven’t outgrown the basics: show up, do the job right, and take care of your people.

When a 10-inch PVC pipe shattered at Reser’s Fine Foods’ Topeka facility at 9:30 PM, the plant faced an immediate shutdown and significant city fines for wastewater bypass.

Then their Maintenance Manager remembered a conversation he’d had a week earlier with Kyle Smiddy, one of our outside sales reps at MKS Pipe & Valve. “Kyle told me, ‘Let me know if you need anything. It doesn’t matter, day or night.’ I kind of chuckled, but he was serious.” He decided to test it.

Kyle answered

Despite the hour, Kyle drove to the shop, confirmed our local stock of Schedule 80 pipe and fittings, and personally drove the needed parts from Kansas City to help complete the repair that same night.

If your plant can’t afford “we’ll see you in the morning,” it might be time for a reliability partner, not just another supplier.
