Pregl Services has a job opening for a:
Mechanical Detailer
DUTIES:
Responsible for:
• Creating mechanical details from designs, mechanical redraws from pencil drawings, and mechanical redraws from CAD files.
• Organizing job releases, inventory data entry, customer manual creation.
• Creating company technical manuals
Follow approved company standards and ANSI 14.5 standards for creating drawing packages.
Work with Project Engineer to develop project budget and schedule. Monitor, adhere to, and attain project budget and schedule.
Review application engineering concept, estimates, reference files, and customer specifications and compare to contract proposal.
Conduct customer, vendor and co-worker relationships with courtesy and respect.
Receive job assignments from the Engineering Manager, Project Engineer, or Mechanical Designer.
Follow the approved company engineering release procedure.
Provide technical support to manufacturing, purchasing and assembly.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; entry level – no experience required; up to 2 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to:
• write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• work with probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• work with: Inventory Control System (ICS), Production Control Systems (PCS), and Quality Control Systems (QCS).
Fluent and Proficient in:
• Autodesk Inventor Version 12 & AutoCAD Mechanical Version 2007
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Windows 7.
