SCHULTZ POWER EQUIPMENT

10/07/2026

Good afternoon, I feel like I need to squash some rumors that we have heard, the biggest one being that "there is no equipment out front, they are going out of business" which is not in anyway close to being true. We are still here and will be here for many years to come. We had our parking lot seal coated which we needed to do in two half jobs. So for the first half we needed to move everything from up front to out back, once that side of the lot was cured, we moved everything from outback to up front so they could get the other half done, with the delay due to raining for days on end and then drying time, it took longer than expected. Shout out to Rock County Seal coat for a job well done,

What have we been doing at the shop lately? well for one we have been extremely busy with repairs on lawn mowers, tractors, zero turns. We have also been busy getting customers snow blowers serviced and ready for the season which will be here before you know it. Our other big project is that we are in the process of having our parking lot seal coated which sadly is dependent on the weather cooperating. Today started out good, Rock County Seal Coat came in and really worked their magic getting the parking lot ready, then the rain came....so now we have to wait for a dry day, then after this half is done, they will do the other half which includes the main parking lot, there is a good chance this will be done next Saturday which we may be closed for as the parking lot will be closed off.

does anyone know what time it is? if your answer is "it's snow blower tune up time" you would be correct. we run our special from September through October, (I know its a little late in September to post, I forgot to post it) we still have till then end of October and we usually extend it a little bit into November. The past few years we have had light winters, I hear this year is to be very wet so lots of snow, time will tell but it is always better to be prepared then to not be prepared. Bring the units in or call for a pick up. 608-364-4848

as most of you know, Schultz Power Equipment is family owned and operated. with that, it brings up unique instances of when there is a family event, we will be closed as we do not have "extra staff" to cover the store. With that being said, Our mom passed away Sunday August 24th early morning. We were closed Monday the 25th so that we could make the arrangements. We will also be closed on Friday August 29th for the Burial. With Monday being Labor Day, we are going to stay closed through the weekend, including Monday September 1st. We will reopen on Tuesday September 2nd at 8:00am

what's been happening at Schultz Power Equipment? well, there has been a lot happening here. we are still performing our seasonal tune ups on walk mowers, zero turns, and tractors, we have had a lot of customers take advantage of the early service so that they are ready to mow when the grass is ready, we are no longer selling "new" mowers. However, we do have a few tractors that we are selling on consignment, and we will have a select amount of walk mowers once we get them through the shop that will also be available for sale. Every mower should, if nothing else, have the blades sharpened and the oil changed, when we have those units in the shop we also give them a full inspection so that we may identify a potential issue before it becomes an issue. If you are in the market for a riding mower, walk mowers, hand held trimmer, or just require maintenance, Please stop in and see us
