HEI was proud to work alongside the City of Cokato and the Wright County Soil and water Conservation District on the SW Cokato Wetland Creation.

The project has provided many benefits including reduced erosion, sediment and nutrients downstream, reduced flood risk, improved water quality, and enhanced wildlife habitat.

Each year, the Lac qui Parle-Yellow Bank Watershed District engages local community members, board members, and staff in an annual canoe trip to learn more about the watershed. 🛶

The Whiskey Creek Enhancement Project addressed erosion, sediment buildup, and flooding, delivering improved water quality, stronger habitat, and reduced flood impacts for local landowners and communities.

Chris Furman and Jacob Garder represented HEI at the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Golf Tournament in Omaha, Nebraska. They spent the day on the course alongside valued clients. ⛳

The event supports an incredible cause, helping provide resources and opportunities for our nation’s veterans. It also offered a great opportunity to connect outside of the office while giving back to the community.

Last week, HEI's Josh Johnson had the opportunity to support DakotAbilities by participating in their 19th Annual Golf Classic. ⛳

Teaming up with friends from VanDeWalle Architecture and Raker Rhodes Engineering, it was a great day on the course for an even better cause, empowering people with disabilities in our communities.
