🔋Battery Cell Plant Update 47:

The entrance to our cell manufacturing facility received a major upgrade this week with the installation of our new Badland Batteries sign. Shoutout to Scenic Sign Corporation for creating and installing the graphic. This is a powerful reminder of how far this project has come and how close we are to welcoming employees and visitors through our doors.

Seeing our brand on display brings a strong sense of identity to the project and marks an important milestone as we move toward full operation and manufacturing U.S.-made battery cells for drones and other autonomous systems.

🔋Battery Cell Plant Update 46:

The office area is really coming together as we are preparing for employees to move into the facility in the weeks ahead. Desks, carpets, doors, and other key components are being delivered and installed throughout the workspace, bringing us one step closer to completion.

We also hosted a facility tour this week, giving visitors a behind the scenes look at our battery cell manufacturing process. Sharing our work with the community continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

🔋Battery Cell Plant Update 45:

Our battery cell manufacturing facility is filling up quickly. Cathode and anode lines are undergoing installation and further down the line, dozens of testers are being put in place. As we start production later this year and scale our output, our final testing and quality check room is going to become a busy place.

🔋Battery Cell Plant Update 44:

As equipment continues to be moved onto our manufacturing floor, the office areas continue to be touched up as we get closer to setting up workstations. Carpet was installed this week, shelving went up and kitchen appliances began to be set in place.

We are thrilled to be a sponsor for the University of North Dakota Motorsports Team’s Formula SAE car. We visited the campus this past weekend for the car reveal and were blown away by the hard work this team has done to design and build this car. Looking ahead, we are excited to see how our battery packs can help power and increase performance of future designs.

🔋Battery Cell Plant Update 43:

Machinery continues to get set in place at our battery cell manufacturing facility in Fargo, N.D. This week we began unpacking the equipment required for winding cathodes and anodes and put in place machinery for finished product testing.

🔋Battery Cell Plant Update 42:

Equipment continues to be moved into its respective locations throughout our battery cell manufacturing facility. Some of it has already been placed and undergoing installation, such as the coating machines. Elsewhere in the facility, appliances have been installed in our kitchen, locker rooms are ready for use and restrooms have been finished as well.
