Do you have a passion for precision, quality, and welding excellence? Pro-Cise, Inc. is looking for an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Quality Technician to help ensure our fabricated weldments and machined components meet the highest industry standards.

In this hands-on role, you'll:
✔ Perform visual weld inspections to AWS D1.1 standards
✔ Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and GD&T requirements
✔ Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections
✔ Support quality audits and coordinate NDT testing
✔ Help maintain the quality our customers depend on

Rail vehicle subframe assembly in the fitment and alignment stage before welding.

A setup like this takes a lot of layout work, clamping, checking dimensions against the drawing, and making sure everything is pulled into the right position before the first weld is made.

One thing that stood out talking with the welder setting up this project was how much the process has improved over time. What originally took 8-9 hours to jig and set up has been cut down to around 1-2 hours through repetition and experience building these frames.

That’s one of the advantages of long-term OEM partnerships and repeat production work. The team knows the product, the setup gets tighter, and work moves through the shop more efficiently.
