We brought the glow—you gave us so much to celebrate! 🥂✨
With the festivities moving between cities each year, we loved welcoming the IIDA Ohio Kentucky Chapter design community to our home turf in Cleveland! Our booth at the IIDA OHKY Student Conference got a colorful makeover courtesy of Ecosense, turning our corner (and us!) into a rainbow. Students got hands-on with Tacet’s playful sample, rearranging and exploring possibilities, while Somari brought the warm glow and plenty of admirers. Our favorite part? Meeting the future designers behind all that curiosity!
Then, it was time to dress up and celebrate at the Design Awards Gala! The Cleveland Museum of Natural History made a stunning backdrop—shoutout to DLR Group on the design! Between cheering on friends taking home awards, cocktails, empanadas, macarons, and a little dancing, there was plenty to celebrate. There were so many talented interior designers attending, and to see their work recognized is incredible!
Congratulations to Vocon for the Sherwin Williams Experience Center, Integrated Design Firm for the museum, Kristina Reagan from HD+S for her IIDA Career Achievement Award, and to Hunter M. and NAC for their outstanding work on Dani’s place, which won its category award, and top honors over all other category winners. Every single winner, nominee, and team member behind each project featured deserves a congratulations!
Thank you, IIDA OHKY, for bringing the design community together—from the students just getting started to the designers creating spaces we love. Already looking forward to next year!!!
