A great way to have an impact on the future of our industry is to work with young students and the people that have a direct impact on their lives and careers. Through coordination with Lisa-Marie Reinhart, Career Readiness Coordinator at Delaware Area Career Center (DACC), Xigent Automation recently hosted a group of educators from local high schools, colleges, and technical schools. Lisa-Marie coordinates a professional development program at DACC called Educators in the Workplace, which is designed to connect local educators with leading employers across Central Ohio. The program allows educators from DACC partner school districts to visit local businesses to learn about career opportunities, hiring trends, and essential workplace skills that can help guide their students. Xigent Automation would like to thank Lisa-Marie, DACC, and all the educators for the opportunity to show them our company and discuss all the possible careers in automated manufacturing!
