⛳ Good friends, friendly competition, and a great cause!

Our Sands Decker foursome—Mark Antonetz, Pete Williams, Joe Smiley, and John Enderle—had a fantastic time at AIA Columbus’s Mulligan Masters golf outing at Columbus Country Club on October 12.

It was a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, make new connections, and enjoy a little friendly competition. We may not have brought home the trophies, but we did our part to keep the course in good shape with only a few divot repairs!

Even better, proceeds support students at the Knowlton School of Architecture, AIAS, and the ARCHway program.

Thanks to AIA Columbus for a memorable day on the course! 🏌️

Stormwater Awareness Week | October 1–7

When it rains, water flows across roofs, lawns, roads, and parking lots, carrying whatever it picks up along the way into our local waterways.

We can all help reduce stormwater pollution by keeping storm drains clear, picking up pet waste, using lawn chemicals responsibly, and incorporating practices like rain gardens and native plantings.

⚾ Take us out to the ballgame!

Our Sands Decker - Civil Engineers & Surveyors team had a great time at Huntington Park on Tuesday cheering on the Columbus Clippers! We enjoyed the game, the food, the Hall of Fame Terrace, and a pretty fantastic view of the ballpark.

Most importantly, it was a fun night together outside the office. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a great evening! ⚾

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

September 11, 2001 is one of those days so many of us can remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when we heard the news.

Today, we think of the lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, and the first responders and everyday people who stepped forward to help.

We also remember the days that followed—the way people looked out for one another, came together, and showed kindness when it was needed most.

Some things are never forgotten.

We remember September 11, 2001. ❤️

Happy Labor Day weekend!

Sands Decker will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We hope everyone enjoys some well-deserved time to relax, recharge, and spend time with family and friends.

A great day on the course! ⛳️

Sands Decker - Civil Engineers & Surveyors was proud to participate in the SMPS Columbus Scholarship Golf Event on August 26. We enjoyed a beautiful day of golf, camaraderie, and catching up with friends and colleagues—all while supporting scholarships for future A/E/C professionals.
