Big things are coming to Polaris! 🏎️

Sands Decker is proud to support the planned Supercharged Entertainment indoor go-karting and recreation facility near Polaris with surveying and engineering services.

The proposed entertainment destination is expected to feature a massive multi-level indoor go-kart track (planned to be the tallest Supercharged track to date) along with additional attractions designed for visitors of all ages.

We’re excited to be part of a project that will bring a unique new entertainment experience to Central Ohio.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Honoring a legacy and remembering a great friend at this year’s Mark Cameron Cup. ⛳💚

The annual OSPS Central Ohio Chapter golf outing was named in honor of Mark Cameron, P.S., recognizing the many years he spent helping grow the event and bringing people together through the surveying profession.

Mark loved golf, but what people remember most was his warmth, sense of humor, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. Whether in the office or out on the course, he had a gift for creating friendships and making people laugh.

While we miss Mark dearly, it was meaningful to spend the day celebrating his memory the way he would have wanted ~ surrounded by colleagues, stories, laughter, and a shared love of the game.

The Sands Decker team of Scott Sands, Rick Cox, David Watson, and Kevin Beechy had a wonderful day on the course honoring Mark’s legacy.

Growing the Sands Decker - Civil Engineers & Surveyors Team! Please help us welcome Mohammedelmustfa Daak (Mo), Jeff Hofius, and Ben Beebe to the Sands Decker team. 🎉

Mo and Jeff recently joined our Survey team, and Ben will be spending the summer in our Zanesville office as our summer intern.

We’re excited to have them on board and look forward to a great summer ahead!

🌮 + = a winning combo

This week, the Sands Decker team celebrated with a lunch spread that disappeared almost as fast as it arrived. Qdoba tacos, Oh Churros treats, and plenty of laughs filled the office, with only a few crumbs left behind.

Cinco de Mayo honors the Battle of Puebla and has grown into a celebration of Mexican culture, heritage, and community across the U.S. We loved taking a moment to celebrate together and show appreciation for our hardworking crew.

Big thanks to our amazing team for everything they do every day.

Something new is underway in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Sands Decker is excited to be part of a new Duchess Shoppe project, providing civil engineering design as construction gets started. Tanks are in, and masonry work is now underway—more progress to come!

Sweet Treats and More! 🍰 Each year, Sands Decker support the Carr Center’s annual Cake Auction, which benefits adult daycare and preschool speech therapy programs in the Zanesville area.

This year marked the 40th Annual Cake Auction, held April 22–23, and Sands Decker was once again proud to participate. We donated a locally made three-tier lemon bundt cake, along with local gift cards to help sweeten the offering. All for a great cause!
