The new class ring sculpture at Yost Plaza was officially unveiled last month. Yost Plaza, a new gathering space honoring Dave ’69 and Jean Yost, is a central feature of the expanded USAFA Doolittle Campus. The plaza links Wecker Hall and Doolittle Hall through the Heritage Trail, the iconic Pegasus statue, and the new 11-foot, 5,500-pound replica of a United States Air Force Academy graduation ring. Honoring members of the Above & Beyond Society, the sculpture recognizes the donors whose generosity helps secure the Academy's future and inspire generations of leaders. We are proud to have helped create a place that celebrates legacy, connection, and service.

A great day celebrating the completion of The Classical Academy’s East Campus expansion!

RTA Architects was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting for TCA's East Campus expansion last week. Completed in partnership with Nunn Construction, the project adds a new gymnasium, College Pathways classrooms, and administrative offices, creating spaces that support learning, wellness, and student success.

RTA Architects was excited to join Cherry Creek Academy for the recent ribbon-cutting of its newest campus addition!

For nearly two decades, RTA has been honored to partner with CCA, supporting the school's growth through a campus master plan and multiple improvement projects. The new 10,310 SF addition expands the campus with new classrooms and breakout spaces, while renovations to existing learning environments and the cafeteria/multipurpose room enhance the student experience and support Cherry Creek Academy's continued success.

RTA was proud to celebrate the completion of the Pueblo Community College Walter F. and Gloria R. Schepp Nursing Simulation Center! Located at the Pueblo Community College Fremont Campus, the new simulation lab creates an immersive learning environment where nursing students can build skills through realistic clinical scenarios before entering the healthcare workforce. The state-of-the-art sim lab includes two patient rooms, a staff station, a control room, and dedicated storage space. The project also activated an adjacent courtyard, creating an improved space where students and staff can relax and gather.

This transformational project was made possible thanks to the generous support of long-time donors and supporters of PCC and the Fremont Campus, Walter F. and Gloria R. Schepp.

The Academy District 20 Douglass Valley PK-8 has officially broken ground!

Construction for the new school is officially underway. Designed to provide expanded educational opportunities for students, the new school will feature flexible PK-8 learning environments, connections to the outdoors, thoughtfully designed staff collaboration spaces, and abundant natural light. Our team had a wonderful time celebrating this important milestone with students, families, community members, the district, and Air Force Academy leaders.

Happy ! At RTA, we believe in investing in the next generation of designers, planners, and architects. Today, we’re proud to recognize the talented students spending their summer with the RTA team and gaining hands-on experience in the architecture and design profession.

Anders, a Graduate student at the University of Michigan, and Caroline, a Graduate student at Texas Tech, have both been with RTA throughout the summer and will be returning to school in August. Owen, an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California, joined RTA for a portion of the summer for a quick but valuable internship.

We were also thrilled to host Keegan, a Palmer Ridge High School student, and Orion, a Coronado High School student, through the ACE Mentor Program this summer, providing additional opportunities for high school students to explore careers in the design and construction industry.

As a firm dedicated to lifelong learning, we are proud to support students as they explore the profession, develop new skills, and gain real-world experience. Thank you to all of our interns for your hard work, curiosity, and contributions this summer!

There’s no better way to beat the summer heat than with an ice cream truck!

Earlier this week, the Mannington Ice Cream Truck stopped by RTA to treat our team to a cool afternoon break. It was a fun way to connect and stay cool during these hot summer days. A big thank you to Mannington Commercial for making our day a little sweeter!

Early Connections Learning Centers Alice Bemis Taylor Center for Early Education is officially complete!

This project transformed a downtown Colorado Springs office building into a vibrant early education center. With a welcoming new entry, playful colors, wall graphics, and engaging classrooms, the space is designed for young learners. The center will serve up to 140 children, expanding Early Connections’ impact and advancing their mission to provide comprehensive, high-quality early education for all children. We were honored to celebrate the grand opening alongside families, staff, and the community!
