RTA was thrilled to celebrate the open house of the Valley-Wide Health & Wellness Center in Alamosa! This project transformed a historic Spanish Mission-style courthouse into a vibrant health center that co-locates services, including primary care, behavioral health, and physical therapy, under one roof. The renovation preserved the building’s historic character while creating a unified campus that supports integrated care.

Exciting news for the Academy District 20 Douglass Valley PK-8! The district has secured a grant from the Department of Defense’s Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation through the Public Schools on Military Installations program, funding a significant portion of the project and bringing the project to life.

The new Douglass Valley PK-8 will provide exceptional learning environments, including a learning stair, classroom pods with natural light, activity commons areas for group and independent work, and outdoor connections.

Durango School District’s Three Springs Elementary School has officially broken ground! RTA was proud to celebrate this exciting milestone alongside students, staff, and district leaders.

With a planned opening ahead of the 2028–29 school year, this innovative new school will create collaborative indoor and outdoor learning environments (wrap-around learning porches!) while thoughtfully integrating the building into the natural landscape. We’re honored to help shape a project that invests in the future of Durango’s students while challenging the boundaries of traditional learning environments. RTA is thrilled to share that the U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation’s Wecker Hall has been honored with an IIDA Rocky Mountain BEST Award in the Workplace category!

Wecker Hall is a high-performance workplace where legacy and innovation converge. The Academy’s Core Values and the campus's timeless mid-century design aesthetic inspired the design, using authentic materials and a restrained palette. Daylit commons and thoughtfully integrated sustainable strategies create a timeless, mission-driven environment that honors tradition while advancing the future of workplace design.
